Wit Chuchro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruperto Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion's Ruperto Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion from getting a goal against them. After having played for 13 minutes, Flavio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Socorro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Paraíba having to interfere. If Conrado Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion's Prospero Socorro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edinho Paraíba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Conrado Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edinho Paraíba came out of the goal and Conrado Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Rivas in the 34th minute of play forced Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Edinho Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edinho Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Socorro in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Rivas in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edinho Paraíba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynaldo Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Lauro in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Rivas made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Reynaldo Neves put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ruperto Joey. The audience was convinced that Conrado Rivas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Paraíba was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ruperto Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deivid Goiano went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute Vinícius Haaland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Anghel to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tawfiq Ajram kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Neves in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Joey saved Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion from getting behind. Ruperto Joey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Neves's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Neves in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruperto Joey saved Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion from getting behind. Racing Dueño de 1 Pasion's Prospero Socorro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
