In the 17thth minute of the game Reynaldo Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Reynaldo Neves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Dimo came out and tried to block the shot, but Reynaldo Neves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Matias Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wit Chuchro, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Maverick Futebol Clube's Edinho Paraíba got control of the ball when Roque Aguilar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sporting Westmeerbeek's Matias Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Haaland in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Westmeerbeek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
