In the 5thth minute of the game Davi Isac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Avram Panaiteanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Franklin Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carpathian Wolves's Sergiu Oloieru pulled a muscle in his leg after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Jorge Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Garotos do Vale's protests and gave Jorge Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. Carpathian Wolves made a substitution. Moise Pandele replaced Sergiu Oloieru. After a rather tough play, A.D Garotos do Vale's Jorge Trevisan got a free kick in the 12th minute. A hard shot by Moise Pandele from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Franklin Montenegro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 18th minute. A.D Garotos do Vale's Franklin Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leszek Pisarczyk hit a great ball. Mihnea Ionițoiu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. After having played for 26 minutes, Walmyr Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D Garotos do Vale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmyr Novaes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franklin Montenegro was a little too slow when Timo Thorstein got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 40th minute, Leszek Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes, Carpathian Wolves's Benny Beckenbauer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Montenegro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Carpathian Wolves reached it. Walmyr Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Franklin Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Davi Isac to strike the kick off in the second half. A.D Garotos do Vale's Franklin Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Ungheanu in the 52nd minute of play. Olimpiu Hârlău made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Isac in the 55th minute. After some careless play in the A.D Garotos do Vale defense, Timo Thorstein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franklin Montenegro. The A.D Garotos do Vale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franklin Montenegro should have stopped the shot. The supporters of A.D Garotos do Vale booed when Carpathian Wolves was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Pandele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Franklin Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 67th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carpathian Wolves's zone, Rumen Atanasov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olimpiu Hârlău came out of the goal and Rumen Atanasov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, A.D Garotos do Vale's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Panaiteanu came free, but Franklin Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rumen Atanasov kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davi Isac got free with Olimpiu Hârlău in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olimpiu Hârlău took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Isac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmyr Novaes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Olimpiu Hârlău made a huge save. Avram Panaiteanu took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Montenegro. Franklin Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Leszek Pisarczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Hârlău made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Davi Isac sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Carpathian Wolves fans cheered their team off the field, for while A.D Garotos do Vale had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
