Imbituba - FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Boncho Badinski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fml Cobiçados HD's José Paulo Alvarenga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sidney Motta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tobias Leheren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidney Motta having to make a save. When Black Fabian fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fml Cobiçados HD's protests and gave Black Fabian a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fml Cobiçados HD getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. In the 45th minute Nathaniel Burnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Géza Vlaszák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Fml Cobiçados HD's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Burnett came free, but Géza Vlaszák reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fml Cobiçados HD made a substitution. Alkeides Liberoyiannis replaced Rune Aspengren. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nathaniel Burnett was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Davi Vergílio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, José Paulo Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fml Cobiçados HD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 68 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Géza Vlaszák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Imbituba - FSCMZ's Greg Drysdale was substituted for Nathaniel Burnett. 74 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Alvarenga came free, but Sidney Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson Pimenta took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Géza Vlaszák. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério da Silva in the 81st minute of play forced Fml Cobiçados HD's goalkeeper Géza Vlaszák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Pedro Luís Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Paulo Alvarenga got free with Sidney Motta in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Imbituba - FSCMZ fully deserved thier win.
