In the 21st minute A.C Barak were awarded a corner. Ahmet Harun Atacan went to the cornerflag to take it. Uğuralp Vasfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Panno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Panno might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Uğuralp Vasfi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Panno ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave Panno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dave Panno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Uğuralp Vasfi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magno Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidal Domingo in the 74th minute of play. Uğuralp Vasfi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave Panno in the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Bülent Birdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uğuralp Vasfi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 78th minute of play. Dave Panno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uğuralp Vasfi having to interfere. Mamutes EC's Tolek Kowalski was substituted for 武岩然. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dave Panno got free with Uğuralp Vasfi in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Mamutes EC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Aírton Freire hit a great ball.
