With an all-out effort, NANO FC's Cătălin Trică threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Saul Kusko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half Purcaresti CSS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Delmar Isauro to make the kick off. With a little luck, NANO FC's Enrique Bologna got control of the ball when Valer Șişman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Purcaresti CSS's Iustin Radovan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Bologna. That made the score 0-5 after 94 minutes of play. Valer Șişman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Bologna having to interfere. Purcaresti CSS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
