But to his dismay, Maicon Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Maicon Abreu made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Vladimiro Abastas would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's zone, Arí Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Abastas came out of the goal and Arí Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maicon Abreu in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vladimiro Abastas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 17 in the game by Maicon Abreu from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Abastas managed to make a qualified save. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's players were relieved. A collision led to CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Amancio Beat hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Filip Felenak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vladimiro Abastas, 3-0. In the 21st minute, Aquiles Gotzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maicon Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Abastas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Maicon Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maicon Abreu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Abastas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Red Dragon FC - DMZ were awarded a corner. João Vítor Trevisan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goalie and right to Adrianinho Ramos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vladimiro Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Mariano Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maicon Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Vladimiro Abastas made a huge save. Vladimiro Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's goalkeeper Vladimiro Abastas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Maicon Abreu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maicon Abreu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Maicon Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimiro Abastas. CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maicon Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Vladimiro Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Abreu in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Mariano Matthew dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adilson de Amorim, 10-1. In the 81st minute, Maicon Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS defense, Arí Negri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Abastas. The CLUB ATLETICO MALANDRAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Abastas should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon Abreu in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Abreu in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Dragon FC - DMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
