In the 6th minute, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Brough came free, but Jaime Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gabriel Martini hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristiano Messi in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keylor Navas saved Australian Youth Academy from getting behind. After 16 minutes of play, Corinthians's Cristiano Messi made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keylor Navas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corinthians's Jaime Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellis Hoskin in the 23rd minute of play. With his leg Keylor Navas managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Corinthians's Cristiano Messi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 28 minutes into the match, Corinthians's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Martini came free, but Jaime Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Roy Baba in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Corinthians's Chris Mas. Cristiano Messi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Kiril Biradzhiev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corinthians's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiril Biradzhiev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Roy Baba in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Corinthians's Chris Mas. In the 47th minute Ellis Hoskin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Messi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Garth Brough reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jaime Almeida. The goal made the score 2-2. Jaime Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fletcher Baba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 56 minute of play. Jaime Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 59th minute of play. Jaime Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Baba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Keylor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th match minute, Corinthians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şensoy Sualp to maneuver through the defense. Corinthians made a substitution. Şensoy Sualp didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Fletcher Baba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Almeida was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jarrod Mcmillan got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-5. 79 minutes into the match. Garth Brough struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Jaime Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Australian Youth Academy. Corinthians's Rubinho de Lara was substituted for Ignacy Kinic. Corinthians's Jaime Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute José Vítor Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keylor Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fletcher Baba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jaime Almeida came out and tried to block the shot, but Fletcher Baba slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 88th minute. Jaime Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Garth Brough showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 91 minute of play. Keylor Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Ramos in the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Australian Youth Academy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
