An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Soltero in the 34th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Alex Méret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Fraile struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Villegas Villagarcia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chancy Olympique. If Zoil Soltero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

YerBaTerOs made a substitution. Lucio Bruna replaced Héctor Gordon. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andres Anguciana to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chancy Olympique's goal looked a bit too open when Xayvion Borrajo came free, but Alex Méret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
