In the 3rd minute, Neşat Beykan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gottlieb Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karsten Zielinski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Ånger in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match La Zabaleta got a corner. Balus Treter's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robustiano Guillerme ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski got control of the ball when Albin Ånger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lorenzo Arce made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robustiano Guillerme. After having played for 14 minutes, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottlieb Hammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gottlieb Hammer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Guib having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Gottlieb Hammer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gottlieb Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Arturo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balus Treter's Karsten Zielinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Balus Treter from getting a goal against them. After 33 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Ntinos Karsiotis. Teodosio Lop received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Karsten Zielinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute Gottlieb Hammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Gottlieb Hammer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Guib. La Zabaleta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gottlieb Hammer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albin Ånger to make the kick off. La Zabaleta's Arturo Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Lorenzo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gottlieb Hammer's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arturo Guib firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arturo Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Trulsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gottlieb Hammer came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Balus Treter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottlieb Hammer couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Ånger in the 72nd minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Ånger took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Zielinski. Karsten Zielinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arturo Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Trulsson in the 78th minute of the match. Balus Treter's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elivélton Tavares in the 80th minute. When Lorenzo Arce fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Zabaleta's protests and gave Lorenzo Arce a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Arce. With his leg Arturo Guib managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Balus Treter were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing La Zabaleta to leave the ground with a draw.
