Arturo Guib came out of the goal and Lukáš Katačić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teodosio Lop could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Luis Nardo made a huge save. Teodosio Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Nardo having to interfere. If Herminio Cresconio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The throw-in from Urbano Balasi in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Florida Gulf Coast's Eleuterio Fiz. Arturo Guib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukáš Katačić's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's Lukáš Katačić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arturo Guib narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Zabaleta's Urbano Balasi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Herminio Cresconio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Nardo having to interfere. Lukáš Katačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Arturo Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Teodosio Lop made the kick off in the second half. Lukáš Katačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Guib having to interfere. Luis Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Lop in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute La Zabaleta were awarded a corner. Leo Machado went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Leo Machado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luis Nardo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Teodosio Lop charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Lop the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Zabaleta's Teodosio Lop got a free kick in the 58th minute. Arturo Guib stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukáš Katačić's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Lukáš Katačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Guib having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Lukáš Katačić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Katačić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, La Zabaleta's Arturo Guib got control of the ball when Lukáš Katačić tried to sneak it across the goal line. La Zabaleta's Arturo Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukáš Katačić in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukáš Katačić in the 76th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Arturo Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Leo Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Lukáš Katačić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Katačić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
