An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Pontes in the 7th minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jan Pihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute Microsoft Team were awarded a corner. Raphael Pinheiro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Microsoft Team's Raphael Pinheiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Pihlberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Preator Edikt booed when Microsoft Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Microsoft Team's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Tătaru came free, but Décio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Microsoft Team's Miguel Lopes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Horia Tătaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Décio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Tătaru in the 23rd minute of play. Décio Barbosa was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Horia Tătaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Horia Tătaru really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horia Tătaru in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Décio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Preator Edikt's Horia Tătaru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Luan Pontes's late challenge caught a Preator Edikt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luan Pontes helped the player get up and apologised. Décio Barbosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horia Tătaru in the 35th minute. Michael Stor's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Décio Barbosa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Décio Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Horia Tătaru sent off a good shot on target. Horia Tătaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Décio Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Décio Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horia Tătaru showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Eduardo Netto to make the kick off. Lúcio Arce lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 56 minutes into the game, one of Microsoft Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist was substituted for Horia Tătaru. Preator Edikt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fellipe Vianna in the 62nd minute. Kenneth Björnberg was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 64 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Décio Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Blomqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Décio Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Preator Edikt made a substitution. Albert Örnberg replaced Fellipe Vianna. In the 71st minute, Ashley Cole hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Eduardo Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Décio Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Microsoft Team got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Blomqvist in the 81st minute of play forced Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luan Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Microsoft Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luan Pontes couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Microsoft Team's goalkeeper Décio Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Ove Blomqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig-Ove Blomqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Décio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Ove Blomqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Stig-Ove Blomqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Barbosa. Microsoft Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Ove Blomqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Stig-Ove Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Ove Örtendal hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raphael Pinheiro got free with Jan Pihlberg in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
