Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baba R. Hansen in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicolae Papuc during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicolae Papuc hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. William Westelinx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 11th minute of play. Nicolae Papuc got a throw-in 12 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mircea Dadu. With an all-out effort, FC Truseni's Rene Vereijt threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iosif Creangã, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 14th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Ouagadougou National's William Westelinx in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 35th minute of play forced FC Truseni's goalkeeper Anibal Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC Truseni's goal looked a bit too open when William Westelinx came free, but Anibal Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, William Westelinx ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Aritza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Pãduret to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save FC Truseni from getting a goal against them. After 60 minutes, William Westelinx made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute FC Ouagadougou National were awarded a corner. Baba R. Hansen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Ouagadougou National's Baba R. Hansen to fire away a dangerous shot which Anibal Aritza despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 66th minute, William Westelinx made a precise shot to the right of Anibal Aritza. FC Truseni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 72nd minute, William Westelinx reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anibal Aritza. The goal made the score 0-7. Anibal Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Westelinx in the 77th minute of play. The corner ended in Baba R. Hansen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Truseni's Anibal Aritza did a great save. William Westelinx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Aritza having to make a save. Jedrzej Kiszkiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anibal Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jedrzej Kiszkiel ran back to his position shaking his head. The FC Truseni fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Ouagadougou National were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
