Adrogue FC's attentive Juan Pablo Angel managed to snatch the ball when Saško Uchiha made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. In the 39th minute, Juan Pablo Angel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Colaneri was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonello Gazza in the 44th minute of the match. Laureano Vergaray charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Vergaray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Adrogue FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Laureano Vergaray hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giuseppe Basso made a kick off. AC Milan made a substitution. Joakim Asserlind replaced Adriano Iacovone. After a defensive mix-up in Adrogue FC's zone, Antonello Gazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Armani came out of the goal and Antonello Gazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Chioda to maneuver through the defense. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
