In the 38th minute, Elano Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Rufino Giron dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandrinho Veiga, 2-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Sakis Mathioudakis's late challenge caught a Club Puerto Quito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakis Mathioudakis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fast layne Fc getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Sakis Mathioudakis hit a great ball.
