If Belmiro Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Belmiro Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Arruda in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Puerto Quito's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belmiro Arruda was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Tachito's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Puerto Quito's goalie and right to Hermengildo Tuste. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Puerto Quito's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Chineze Robben hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Club Puerto Quito's Dong Zhou Chen got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Belmiro Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute Belmiro Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Arruda in the 25th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Deportivo Tachito's Belmiro Arruda made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Precioso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauricio Precioso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belmiro Arruda's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tachito's Belmiro Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Precioso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute of the match Deportivo Tachito got a corner. Club Puerto Quito's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Belmiro Arruda ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chineze Robben got in the 35th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mauricio Precioso handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Chineze Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Arruda in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Belmiro Arruda made a kick off. Belmiro Arruda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Mauricio Precioso made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Belmiro Arruda took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mauricio Precioso to make any attempt to save it. Belmiro Arruda in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauricio Precioso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Belmiro Arruda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Mauricio Precioso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Gallardo during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Enzo Gallardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Tachito's 忠 许褚 was substituted for Belmiro Arruda. The supporters of Deportivo Tachito booed when Club Puerto Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tenorio Cuerva didn't get a good kick on the ball.
