After some careless play in the CACYFA defense, João Adolfo de Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Quirce. The CACYFA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Quirce should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute of the match, João Adolfo de Amaral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luis Quirce was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
