Luis Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artal Baltanas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Angelino Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sindo Porregimon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermengol Alberete in the 41st minute of play forced CACYFA's goalkeeper Luis Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by CACYFA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ermengol Alberete made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Socavon FC defense, Ahmet Kadri Adılhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sindo Porregimon. The Socavon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sindo Porregimon should have stopped the shot. Socavon FC's Sindo Porregimon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Kadri Adılhan in the 69th minute of play. If Ermengol Alberete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Socavon FC played a much better game than CACYFA and deserved their victory. The CACYFA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
