But to his dismay, Agustín Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Sven Nordkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Negri having to interfere. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cafu Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Hård in the 16th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Sven Nordkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Cafu Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Agustín Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Nordkvist came free, but Cafu Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Zalayeta in the 28th minute of play. With an all-out effort, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's Lars Norberg threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcelo Zalayeta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after spikarna's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lukasz Klucznik took the corner. After taking down the ball on PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's corner Lukasz Klucznik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lars Norberg quite easily take care of the ball. Lars Norberg made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Marcelo Zalayeta sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Helder Jares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Nordkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Alvarez. In the 42nd match minute, PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Matosas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atakan Pepe in the 44th minute of play forced PEÑAROL ORO Y CARBON's goalkeeper Cafu Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. spikarna's Lars Norberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save spikarna from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kaj Hård stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Kaj Hård left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The spikarna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, spikarna's Konrad Lewicki got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
