In the 7th minute, Cornel Mutu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Jacobo Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pablo Lohitzun, 1-1. Valentino Rosas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when The Beatles AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ezequiel Gagriel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Expresso Ranelagh were awarded a corner. Valentino Rosas went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Expresso Ranelagh's corner Valentino Rosas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ezequiel Gagriel quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Demario got free with Pablo Lohitzun in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Expresso Ranelagh from getting a goal against them. Valentino Rosas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of Expresso Ranelagh:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Expresso Ranelagh. Expresso Ranelagh:s Pablo Lohitzun showed great skill when he stopped Moises Demario:s penalty. 43 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Grabiel came free, but Pablo Lohitzun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svetoslav Vardarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to The Beatles AC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Romulo Isidor hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, The Beatles AC's Victorio Laurentzi got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Svetoslav Vardarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Gagriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Beatles AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldo Gorosti was slow to take the kick. During this time Expresso Ranelagh's players had a chance to rest. Ezequiel Gagriel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jacobo Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Expresso Ranelagh's Márcio Lago was substituted for Svetoslav Vardarov.
