With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Morales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Sayveon hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Lautaro Morales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Cabezon in the 34th minute of play. Maximino Cabezon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Morales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When Gabriel Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ACF Fiorentina's protests and gave Gabriel Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes ACF Fiorentina got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Gaufred. Federico Kalinowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepe Sand in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Maximino Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Lautaro Morales made a huge save. A collision led to Pucará getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Timoteo Martxot hit a great ball. Pucará's Franco Orozco was substituted for Pepe Sand.
