The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Oscar Tiniebra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goal looked a bit too open when Burbano Dios came free, but Ulysses Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calopsita EC's Cido do Valle shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Pang Shi Bang but with some difficulty. Trescientos's Pang Shi Bang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semih Şentürk in the 17th minute of play. Pang Shi Bang made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Luiz Fábio Arósio sent off a good shot on target. Pang Shi Bang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Marinho in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Trescientos's Pang Shi Bang got control of the ball when Anak Dewa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Trescientos defense, Luiz Fábio Arósio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pang Shi Bang. The Trescientos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pang Shi Bang should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, Oscar Tiniebra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulysses Novaes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Semih Şentürk in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pang Shi Bang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Semih Şentürk in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pang Shi Bang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliberto Llorenc to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Luisão Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pang Shi Bang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Ulysses Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feliberto Llorenc. 60 minutes into the match, Trescientos's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fábio Arósio came free, but Pang Shi Bang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulysses Novaes having to interfere. After 65 minutes, Bernardo Umaña mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trescientos and the Calopsita EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Bernardo Umaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th match minute, Trescientos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Lodbrok to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Calopsita EC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cido do Valle hit a great ball. The supporters of Trescientos booed when Calopsita EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cido do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Calopsita EC from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Trescientos were awarded a corner. Edgardo Alcala went to the cornerflag to take it. Oscar Tiniebra made a great header on Trescientos's corner, it was just that Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes managed to reach the ball for a save. Calopsita EC's Semih Şentürk got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xabel Helica kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute Gavica Felpeto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gavica Felpeto in the 80th minute of play. Pang Shi Bang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semih Şentürk in the 81st minute of play. Anak Dewa hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Trescientos were furious when Edwards Williams was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Trescientos! In the 97th minute, Edu Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calopsita EC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
