In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Anders Ståhlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivos de Punto Fijo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mete y Raspa FC the free kick. Anders Ståhlman kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Can Yerhum in the 22nd minute of play. Cezary Makomaski took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramirez Olazabala. Ramirez Olazabala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Mete y Raspa FC's Ramirez Olazabala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Mete y Raspa FC from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Cezary Makomaski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramirez Olazabala. Ramirez Olazabala yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Ramirez Olazabala stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezary Makomaski's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Bochinski got free with Ramirez Olazabala in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Can Yerhum in the 39th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Mete y Raspa FC's Hasan Can Yerhum nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dani Hernández made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hasan Can Yerhum was the one to do the kick off. Hasan Can Yerhum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dani Hernández read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Filip Bochinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Bochinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramirez Olazabala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Narciso Gombal was substituted for Juan Torrent. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Pier Kopacz was substituted for Filip Bochinski. 64 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Romo Cardarda came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chivos de Punto Fijo defense, Hasan Can Yerhum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dani Hernández. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dani Hernández should have stopped the shot. Ramirez Olazabala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ramirez Olazabala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilmar Marinho went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Nilmar Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramirez Olazabala having to interfere. Nilmar Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramirez Olazabala having to make a save. Dani Hernández made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hasan Can Yerhum in the 93rd minute. Justino Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chivos de Punto Fijo had won after a very even match.
