After 3 played minutes Diego Eterno got a freekick which was hit by David Cefero. 6 minutes into the match, Diego Eterno's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Van Elsen came free, but Modesto Santikurtz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tato Vega in the 11th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Lando Norin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Modesto Santikurtz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Diego Eterno getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Elpidio Cordaro hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Lando Norin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Que se abra o mar's Tato Vega got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 19 minutes Diego Eterno's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lando Norin who took care of the corner kick. In the 23rd minute, Danilo Mano made a precise shot to the right of Sandro Tepedino. Que se abra o mar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ni De Yun in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Tato Vega lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Modesto Santikurtz. With a little luck, Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz got control of the ball when Tato Vega tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tato Vega made the kick off in the second half. Modesto Santikurtz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tato Vega, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Que se abra o mar were awarded a corner. Lando Norin went to the cornerflag to take it. Lando Norin made a great header on Que se abra o mar's corner, it was just that Diego Eterno's Modesto Santikurtz managed to reach the ball for a save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
