When Tudor Bodea came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Unicorns ™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tudor Bodea couldn't finish the play. Iacob Surdu charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Surdu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iacob Surdu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Hélio Cunha hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Jaka Jamba in the 18th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Rosalio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Vâtcă, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Fedele Scirea notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin. Corneliu Vulpăşin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Fedele Scirea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Scirea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Set Fire were awarded a corner. Magno Jaka Jamba went to the cornerflag to take it. Lilian Thuram kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Fedele Scirea put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. Rareș Papadima's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmiro Rosalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Unicorns ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aurel Huștiu in the 47th minute. Tudor Bodea made a great header on Unicorns ™'s corner, it was just that Set Fire's Delmiro Rosalio managed to reach the ball for a save.

The wind increased when Fedele Scirea made the kick off in the second half. If Magno Jaka Jamba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Corneliu Vulpăşin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Onas. 61 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Scirea came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Dziura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Fedele Scirea took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Corneliu Vulpăşin to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Tudor Bodea got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Set Fire was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Scirea to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Unicorns ™ defense, Daniel Dziura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin. The Unicorns ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Corneliu Vulpăşin should have stopped the shot. After 85 minutes Set Fire's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurel Huștiu who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin got control of the ball when Magno Jaka Jamba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Set Fire played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
