The referee showed Evan Le Moullec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Evan Le Moullec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Calleri got free with Dilan Bobet in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samuel Buinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Rannou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Chaponnay FC's Dilan Bobet got control of the ball when Clodoveo Feliz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dilan Bobet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Rannou in the 27th minute of play forced Arthur Morgan´s Club's goalkeeper Samuel Buinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Buinton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaud Houzet in the 29th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Renaud Houzet put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Samuel Buinton. The supporters of Chaponnay FC booed when Arthur Morgan´s Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Arthur Rannou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samuel Buinton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Calleri was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoveo Feliz during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes Arthur Morgan´s Club got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Feliz. In the 52nd minute, Sergio Mergildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Calleri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Morgan´s Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clodoveo Feliz in the 58th minute. Arthur Morgan´s Club's Clodoveo Feliz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dilan Bobet in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 58th minute Gaspar Santo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dilan Bobet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Santo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dilan Bobet. Dilan Bobet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Fabian Balendin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Dilan Bobet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Calleri in the 69th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Feliz notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Chaponnay FC's Dilan Bobet. Dilan Bobet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arthur Morgan´s Club made a substitution. Justino Urdaspal replaced Clodoveo Feliz. Chaponnay FC's Steve Carrier was substituted for Stéphane Eynard. Chaponnay FC made a substitution. Brandon Teisseire replaced Charly Boisson. Renaud Houzet might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samuel Buinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Renaud Houzet ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute, Arthur Rannou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaponnay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Arthur Morgan´s Club were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chaponnay FC for a fine match.
