Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Húsares's goalkeeper Fabio Quintyn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Beauval. Raphaël Lallemand's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabio Quintyn firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Léon Sureau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Quintyn. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Les Pionniers de Touraine's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Ferran came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Húsares's Maksymilian Wydrych to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Zurawski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Ferran in the 33rd minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Ferran was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Beauval might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Quintyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abraham Beauval ran back to his position shaking his head. Les Pionniers de Touraine's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Florencio Ferran scored to the left of an out of position Tanek Zurawski, making the score, 1-2. Húsares's attentive Humberto Pacorro managed to snatch the ball when Gaël Thuilliez made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Húsares's Florencio Ferran ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tanek Zurawski. Tanek Zurawski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Ferran got free with Tanek Zurawski in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Húsares's Teobaldo Ibon was substituted for Florencio Ferran. Húsares's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ubaldo Kismi in the 69th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ubaldo Kismi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Zurawski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Húsares's Fabio Quintyn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Beauval in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Raphaël Lallemand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Quintyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Abraham Beauval ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Quintyn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. A collision led to Húsares getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ubaldo Kismi hit a great ball. The Les Pionniers de Touraine supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Húsares's performance. The match ended with a win for Húsares.
