Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gert Örtendahl in the 25th minute of play. If Felix Răica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Gert Örtendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lite Finare Lite Bättre's George Sandell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jean-Baptiste Xavier Lloret stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Cido Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Sandell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lite Finare Lite Bättre would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
