Marcelo Cordero started the match with the kick off. Maximo Bertol hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Marcelo Cordero notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito. Márcio de Brito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 25th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Santos came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leonard Purcaru hit a great ball. Luiz Bizet made in the 35th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Cordero immediately put the ball in play. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cordero in the 40th minute of play. Martín Ferreyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio de Brito having to interfere. Marcelo Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Márcio de Brito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelo Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head.

56 minutes into the game, Luiz Bizet threw the ball into play from the sideline. Samurai Champions FC's Șerban Bărbânță quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 58th minute Cido Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Cordero got free with Márcio de Brito in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Cido Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Recife to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito got control of the ball when Marcelo Cordero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cido Recife took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dražen Ladić. Dražen Ladić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when Samurai Champions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Samurai Champions FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
