Olimpiu Oncescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauro Proença's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Mugur Aldulea took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jerzy Giejda. Jerzy Giejda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Nonatos United's Humberto Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alexandru Zaki hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Lauro Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Oncescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes in the game, Claudiu Popescu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jerzy Giejda having to interfere. Matei Marioara's late challenge caught a Nonatos United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Marioara helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Nonatos United booed when Stoicii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matei Marioara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Jerzy Giejda successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 45th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Marioara to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Humberto Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Olimpiu Oncescu made a huge save. Stoicii's Alexandru Zaki pulled a muscle in his back after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 54 minutes into the game, Conrado Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nonatos United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stoicii the free kick. Stoicii made a substitution. Alex Hosu replaced Alexandru Zaki. After a rather tough play, Nonatos United's Conrado Rossi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mugur Aldulea struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jerzy Giejda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stoicii. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Claudiu Popescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stoicii's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudiu Popescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerzy Giejda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Stoicii got a freekick which was hit by Remus Tilincă. Jerzy Giejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugur Aldulea in the 76th minute of play. Hélder Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olimpiu Oncescu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nonatos United's zone, Claudiu Popescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Giejda came out of the goal and Claudiu Popescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Claudiu Popescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Giejda was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Mugur Aldulea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Emanuel Rogoz fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stoicii's protests and gave Emanuel Rogoz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Stoicii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Rogoz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stoicii had won after a very even match.
