In the 3rd minute, Nacional's Grabiel Escorcia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Toppi came free, but Juaneizu Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Bartolomucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Grabiel Escorcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Escorcia in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugenio Bartolomucci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute, Grabiel Escorcia made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Bartolomucci. Cacciola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Cacciola booed when Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grabiel Escorcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cacciola's Franco Di Giuseppe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mendiko Bueres, made in the 29th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grabiel Escorcia in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Bartolomucci saved Cacciola from getting behind. Eugenio Bartolomucci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph Gayoso in the 34th minute. The corner led Nacional's Xu Sha to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Bartolomucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nunez Hernando during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nunez Hernando hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Grabiel Escorcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Bartolomucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cacciola's goalie and right to Joseph Gayoso. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cacciola's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Grabiel Escorcia might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eugenio Bartolomucci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grabiel Escorcia ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

A hard shot 54 in the game by Enrico Brambilla from a close distance when the talented Juaneizu Merida managed to make a qualified save. Nacional's players were relieved. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cacciola's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xu Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Nacional's Luciano Inverso to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Bartolomucci despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Cacciola's goal looked a bit too open when Grabiel Escorcia came free, but Eugenio Bartolomucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nacional made a substitution. Walme Yurre replaced Mendiko Bueres. Nacional were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Cacciola's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xu Sha took the corner. Nacional's Xu Sha was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eugenio Bartolomucci in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Carballo during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Nacional getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Felipe Carballo hit a great ball. Federico Frabetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eugenio Bartolomucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grabiel Escorcia in the 68th minute of play. Octavian Humă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juaneizu Merida having to interfere. Franco Di Giuseppe made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Federico Frabetti immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grabiel Escorcia in the 73rd minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Grabiel Escorcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Bartolomucci stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grabiel Escorcia's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute of the match, Federico Frabetti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Juaneizu Merida saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 82nd minute, Walme Yurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Federico Frabetti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juaneizu Merida. The goal made the score 3-2. After 85 played minutes Cacciola got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Brambilla. In the 93rd minute, Grabiel Escorcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Gayoso in the 95th minute of play forced Cacciola's goalkeeper Eugenio Bartolomucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Nacional support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
