Marcelo Matteo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Mitchell Godwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Harriet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitchell Godwin scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernabe Harriet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Malcolm Blue hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bernabe Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 21st minute of play. Vinícius Junior took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Harriet. Bernabe Harriet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 25th match minute, Cosquín FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Donio to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin in the 27th minute of play. Bernabe Harriet came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Mitchell Godwin. But to his dismay, Mitchell Godwin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 42 played minutes Cosquín FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Donio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mitchell Godwin in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernabe Harriet saved Cosquín FC from getting behind. Bernabe Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mitchell Godwin was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Cosquín FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Harriet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Neycho Mudrov. Bernabe Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinícius Junior in the 56th minute. Vinícius Junior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Harriet having to interfere. Bernabe Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchell Godwin in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Cosquín FC's Bernabe Harriet got control of the ball when Mitchell Godwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 70th minute of play forced Cosquín FC's goalkeeper Bernabe Harriet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Ibar hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Capivara FC made a substitution. Doriva Tavares replaced Zhang Chen. After a rather tough play, Cosquín FC's Dalmacio Ibar got a free kick in the 77th minute. Capivara FC's Mitchell Godwin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bogumil Andrzejewski kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. With a little luck, Cosquín FC's Bernabe Harriet got control of the ball when Mitchell Godwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Tavares in the 84th minute. The supporters of Capivara FC booed when Cosquín FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marciano Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitchell Godwin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Harriet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Neycho Mudrov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 89 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bernabe Harriet. Bernabe Harriet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 96 minutes into the match, Doriva Tavares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernabe Harriet. Cosquín FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Tavares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Capivara FC played a much better game than Cosquín FC and deserved their victory. The Cosquín FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
