The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of The Nerd Herd booed when Tapera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo das Neves was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alin Armeanca. In the 9th minute, Marian Banas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Nerd Herd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tapera's Oswaldo das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Tapera from getting a goal against them. Oswaldo das Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Banas's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Tapera's goalkeeper Oswaldo das Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ni Zhan Kun. The crowd rose to their feet as The Nerd Herd's Marian Banas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo das Neves. That made the score 3-0 after 17 minutes of play. Oswaldo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Armeanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Honorato Nardo made a precise shot to the right of Enzo Noce. The Nerd Herd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 29 minutes into the match, Ni Zhan Kun notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Tapera's Oswaldo das Neves. Oswaldo das Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oswaldo das Neves was a little too slow when Marian Banas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-1. Tapera's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Marian Banas scored to the left of an out of position Oswaldo das Neves, making the score, 6-1. 39 minutes into the match, Tapera's goal looked a bit too open when Stein Tysse came free, but Oswaldo das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Armeanca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Oswaldo das Neves made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Marian Banas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oswaldo das Neves was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 43rd minute, The Nerd Herd's Alin Armeanca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 7-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alin Armeanca got free with Oswaldo das Neves in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Nerd Herd's Ni Zhan Kun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Banas was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tapera's Geovânio Senna got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 54 played minutes, The Nerd Herd's Odysseas Lagidis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Oswaldo das Neves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Nerd Herd reached it. Oswaldo das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Banas in the 56th minute of play. After 56 minutes of play, The Nerd Herd's Ni Zhan Kun made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oswaldo das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Marian Banas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo das Neves. Tapera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Banas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-1. Oswaldo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stein Tysse, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Oswaldo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ni Zhan Kun in the 67th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Alin Armeanca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo das Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-1. In the 77th minute, Alin Armeanca made a precise shot to the right of Oswaldo das Neves. Tapera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-1. Oswaldo das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ni Zhan Kun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Tysse in the 88th minute of the match. Léo Matos's late challenge caught a The Nerd Herd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Léo Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Tapera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Matos to maneuver through the defense. Odysseas Lagidis, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Ni Zhan Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Nerd Herd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ni Zhan Kun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Armeanca, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Zhan Kun in the 94th minute of play forced Tapera's goalkeeper Oswaldo das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
