Santa Margarita's Enzo Peruxu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mieszko Wielgopolski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mieszko Wielgopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Lordi's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, FC Wieliczka's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Lordi came free, but Mieszko Wielgopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th match minute, FC Wieliczka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Filipowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gerardo Lordi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mieszko Wielgopolski was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Anti Ratassepp charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Enzo Peruxu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mieszko Wielgopolski. FC Wieliczka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Andréas Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. FC Wieliczka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Icardi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Mieszko Wielgopolski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mauro Icardi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 71 minute of play. Santa Margarita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Celio in the 81st minute. After 81 played minutes Santa Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Icardi. Mauro Icardi struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mieszko Wielgopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Margarita. Mauro Icardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mieszko Wielgopolski having to make a save. After 87 minutes of play, Santa Margarita's Mauro Icardi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Wielgopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mauro Icardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Filipowski came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mieszko Wielgopolski was a little too slow when Mauro Icardi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-7. The Santa Margarita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
