The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dino Maquiano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Cayetano Lalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cederik Huts having to make a save. After 20 played minutes MARTINETA got a freekick which was hit by Enzo-Nicolás Madrid. Jorge Reijnders might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garaona Alfeiran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Reijnders ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Savino in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garaona Alfeiran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Carlos Cesaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cederik Huts. Kickers United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Cesaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 37th match minute, MARTINETA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafal Kaszubowski to maneuver through the defense. Leonides Blasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Garaona Alfeiran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MARTINETA's Garaona Alfeiran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save MARTINETA from getting a goal against them. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kickers United's goalkeeper Cederik Huts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Lalla got free with Cederik Huts in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cederik Huts was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Cayetano Lalla capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cayetano Lalla really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MARTINETA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
