Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Slavomil Kalný proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Tenha Dó Dó Dó from getting a goal against them. Slavomil Kalný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwight Schrute in the 17th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Elliot Whitley got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slavomil Kalný quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 23 minutes into the game, when Ludomir Dombroski put in a rough tackle. The audience cheered loudly when Jonas Cole's long shot in the 24th minute became 1-0 when the ball went to the left of and passed Slavomil Kalný. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Cole in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavomil Kalný prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Slavomil Kalný throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jonas Cole in the 27thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Slavomil Kalný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliot Whitley in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goal looked a bit too open when Dwight Schrute came free, but Slavomil Kalný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliot Whitley got free with Slavomil Kalný in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Brooklyn SC's Jonas Cole looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Paulo Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brooklyn SC made a substitution. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Moreira was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Brooklyn SC's Dráuzio Barral got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tord Nyman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Tenha Dó Dó Dó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rdth minute of the game Dráuzio Barral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Slavomil Kalný was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Slavomil Kalný took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Basílio Damião was substituted for César Carneiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwight Schrute in the 76th minute of play forced Tenha Dó Dó Dó's goalkeeper Slavomil Kalný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Dwight Schrute sped through Tenha Dó Dó Dó's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Slavomil Kalný.
