After 11 minutes, Hidalgo Gallegos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Loja S.C. and the Metolokos MZ Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute of the match Luiz Fábio Braga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Rossell skillfully saved the ball. Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Metolokos MZ Clube from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yakup Kadri Akbatur in the 17th minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hidalgo Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Peres came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romeu Netto could save by the left post. In the 35th minute, Matheus Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Vedeja in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Metolokos MZ Clube made a substitution. Fabiano Jacinto replaced Alfredão da Fonseca. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yakup Kadri Akbatur to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Catarinense in the 54th minute of play forced Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Fabricio Vedeja notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto. After having played for 66 minutes, Luis-Antonio Barraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loja S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis-Antonio Barraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper Ismael Rossell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yakup Kadri Akbatur. 70 minutes into the game, Victor Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Romeu Netto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Loja S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Loja S.C.'s Victor Peres looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 78 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Peres came free, but Romeu Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Vedeja in the 79th minute of play forced Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Romeu Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Loja S.C. were awarded a corner. Pedro Gudesteo went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Victor Peres to score against Romeu Netto in Metolokos MZ Clube's goal. 5-0 after 81 minutes. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Peres in the 86th minute of play. Metolokos MZ Clube's Romeu Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Peres in the 88th minute of play. Romeu Netto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victor Peres went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Romeu Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hidalgo Gallegos in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when Metolokos MZ Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball.
