Acácio Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Athletico Paulistano booed when Skyborn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Skyborn FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Fabinho dos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Felin, making the score, 1-0. A collision led to Skyborn FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bertil Jansson hit a great ball. Skyborn FC's Fabian Felin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Skyborn FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Skyborn FC defense, Fabinho dos Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Felin. The Skyborn FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Felin should have stopped the shot. Skyborn FC's attentive Jonas Axelsson managed to snatch the ball when Haakon Brøndsel made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute of the match Skyborn FC got a corner. Club Athletico Paulistano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertil Jansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Bertil Jansson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Acácio Lara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Acácio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Jansson in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match Skyborn FC got a corner. Club Athletico Paulistano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertil Jansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. Skyborn FC's Bertil Jansson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Acácio Lara in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Burman in the 27th minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Fabinho dos Santos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabian Felin. The goal made the score 3-0. Fabian Felin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabinho dos Santos in the 33rd minute. Fabian Felin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho dos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertil Jansson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fabinho dos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Jonathan Burman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Acácio Lara, 4-2. With a little luck, Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara got control of the ball when Jonathan Burman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Club Athletico Paulistano's Acácio Lara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Athletico Paulistano from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Skyborn FC's Jonathan Burman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Acácio Lara. That made the score 4-3 after 71 minutes of play. If Jonathan Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Burman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Acácio Lara firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jaime Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Skyborn FC made a substitution. Gösta Söderberg replaced Bertil Jansson. A collision led to Skyborn FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jaime Estebano hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, Skyborn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Nordlund to maneuver through the defense. If Fabinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th play minute Gösta Söderberg came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Acácio Lara. 4-4. In the 95th match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Mendes to maneuver through the defense. When Jakob Wassenius came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Skyborn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jakob Wassenius couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
