Bancruz F.C's Turgay Hafi got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Matro might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phillip Glerum. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Matro ran back to his position shaking his head. Phillip Glerum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgay Hafi's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 19 minutes Saco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Arixo who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Bancruz F.C booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter-Jan De Brouwer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turgay Hafi in the 27th minute of play. Phillip Glerum made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Turgay Hafi sent off a good shot on target. After taking down the ball on Bancruz F.C's corner Carlos Arixo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Phillip Glerum quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bancruz F.C's Turgay Hafi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phillip Glerum. That made the score 2-0 after 34 minutes of play. 39 minutes into the match, Bancruz F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Peter-Jan De Brouwer came free, but Ciro Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes in the game Adriano Bezerra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peter-Jan De Brouwer. After 47 played minutes Bancruz F.C got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Matro. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgay Hafi to make the kick off. Phillip Glerum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Arixo went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Dhaussy in the 55th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bancruz F.C.
