The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 63rd minute Per Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Berni FC's Sixten Apelqvist threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kálmán Gácsi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Kálmán Gácsi came free, but Sixten Apelqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Sixten Apelqvist successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 79 minutes, Chicão Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Milan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berni FC's György Tóth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Bin Tian in the 83rd minute of play. AC Milan's Sixten Apelqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save AC Milan from getting a goal against them. In the 86th match minute, Berni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márton Horváth to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Du Bin Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Du Bin Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. György Tóth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harry Dahlgren's late challenge caught a Berni FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Dahlgren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AC Milan's Harry Dahlgren got a free kick in the 90th minute.
