Leonard Joks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Ignado having to interfere. When Chris-George Di Crescenzo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kanalla F.C's protests and gave Chris-George Di Crescenzo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CarecaNeles F.C. booed when Kanalla F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris-George Di Crescenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Kanalla F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Bramble was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Victor Bramble struck a weak shot in the 85th minute.
