Gracie Barra's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Şamil Sağman in the 15th minute. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Furtado in the 17th minute of the match. Falcão Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Severo went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After taking down the ball on Gracie Barra's corner Jamey Hankins fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and José Maria Pontes quite easily take care of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Saldanha came free, but José Maria Pontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Maria Pontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Saldanha went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha got control of the ball when Bata Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Velloso succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. In the 47th minute of the game Bruninho Rodrigues made a throw-in which Bata Palma played forward. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Augusto Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. COURO COME FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Augusto Saldanha scored to the left of an out of position José Maria Pontes, making the score, 1-6. The Gracie Barra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Velloso got free with José Maria Pontes in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. COURO COME FC's José Maria Pontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save COURO COME FC from getting a goal against them. Murphey Shipman in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Maria Pontes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
