FC Alumiara SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basavilbaso FC the free kick. Gencay Şerif kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Patrício made a kick off. Sandro Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Gentza in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Alumiara SD getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Magne Odeen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Estebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Orvar Bäckström. That made the score 2-1 in the 69 minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Israel Patrício managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alumiara SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Israel Patrício was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The corner ended in Henric Springfält almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Alumiara SD's Sandro Santos did a great save. David Moreira thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Sandro Santos, a very annoying self made goal in the 80th minute which led to 3-1. Ruben Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Bäckström having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Clemente Rubio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Sandro Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, FC Alumiara SD's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Guerrero came free, but Sandro Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute Inocencio Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
