With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Gonza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Centenales came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner. Walter Closet went to the cornerflag to take it. Walter Closet made a great header on Golden Lions FC's corner, it was just that Família Ressaca MZ's Cleto Gonza managed to reach the ball for a save. Cleto Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Durazno in the 32nd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Loco Durazno made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Jimmie Vikström with Bin Albertini as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Xavier Laureys hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Loco Durazno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Lions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loco Durazno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes, Golden Lions FC's Igor Dzierwa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cleto Gonza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Lions FC reached it. In the 74th minute, Feng Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. İbrahim Efe Topdemir replaced Hazım Tuğlu. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Burç Tokhan replaced Loco Durazno. A collision led to Família Ressaca MZ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Feng Yang hit a great ball. The Família Ressaca MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Cleto Gonza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Tokhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Cleto Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burç Tokhan went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Cleto Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Topdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute İbrahim Efe Topdemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Golden Lions FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Família Ressaca MZ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
