Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Lakhdar Guendouz sent off a good shot on target. Hemza Derrida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Benett in the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, one of Salmiyah Power:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Salmiyah Power. Hemza Derrida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radamel Oakley, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 14 minutes, Leonard Bărnuțiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salmiyah Power and the Surahammar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Leonard Bărnuțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salmiyah Power's Hemza Derrida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel Oakley in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Surahammar's Radamel Oakley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hemza Derrida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hemza Derrida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radamel Oakley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Radamel Oakley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincent Benett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Hemza Derrida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brahim Kerkar made in the 25th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Surahammar's Markus Wallman. The audience was convinced that Radamel Oakley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hemza Derrida was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radamel Oakley in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hemza Derrida saved Salmiyah Power from getting behind. Radamel Oakley struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Hemza Derrida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Surahammar. 35 minutes into the match, Radamel Oakley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hemza Derrida. Salmiyah Power's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radamel Oakley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Benett came free, but Hemza Derrida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hemza Derrida came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Surahammar's Radamel Oakley. But to his dismay, Radamel Oakley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Vincent Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemza Derrida having to interfere. Radamel Oakley might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemza Derrida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Radamel Oakley ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radamel Oakley to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Arsenio Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Lindström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radamel Oakley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Hemza Derrida made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Radamel Oakley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hemza Derrida. The goal made the score 0-4. Surahammar's Victor Santxol was substituted for Radamel Oakley. Victor Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemza Derrida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. Hemza Derrida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Santxol in the 60th minute. Surahammar's Markus Wallman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brahim Kerkar, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Victor Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemza Derrida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Santxol came free, but Hemza Derrida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Brahim Kerkar in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Surahammar's Markus Wallman. Victor Santxol in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hemza Derrida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Victor Santxol sped through Salmiyah Power's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hemza Derrida. Salmiyah Power's Alain Khaldi was substituted for Brahim Kerkar. Salmiyah Power's Jeremias Ganix was substituted for Noureddine Adjani. Salmiyah Power made a substitution. Noureddine Abdenouz replaced Leonard Bărnuțiu. Victor Santxol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hemza Derrida came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Santxol slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 79th minute. When Markus Wallman came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Surahammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Wallman couldn't finish the play. Victor Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hemza Derrida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Santxol got free with Hemza Derrida in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Lindström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kacper Koperski went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute of the match Salmiyah Power got a corner. Surahammar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cheb Haddou ran over to the corner to take the kick.
