Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Stefan Åsebø successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Flock of Eagles booed when Fiasco da Gama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Robertsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stefan Åsebø made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Osvald Backlund sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Flock of Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Bech came free, but Esbjörn Lindell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Joacim Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esbjörn Lindell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Bech in the 27th minute of play. Esbjörn Lindell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Tjelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronny Aasgaard during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Idar Tømmervik's late challenge caught a Flock of Eagles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Idar Tømmervik helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Fiasco da Gama's Idar Tømmervik got a free kick in the 57th minute. Stefan Åsebø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th match minute, Flock of Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Hägg to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Åke Hägg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiasco da Gama's Kjell Rekstad got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Rekstad got free with Esbjörn Lindell in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 76th minute of the game Åke Hägg made a throw-in which Joacim Jonsson played forward. Esbjörn Lindell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Idar Tømmervik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Mergea in the 86th minute of play forced Fiasco da Gama's goalkeeper Stefan Åsebø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Flock of Eagles got a corner. Fiasco da Gama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sabin Mergea ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sabin Mergea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fiasco da Gama's Stefan Åsebø did a great save. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Vilhelm Kvist sped through Fiasco da Gama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Åsebø. Stefan Åsebø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Mergea in the 92nd minute of the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Arthur Tjelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fiasco da Gama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arthur Tjelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flock of Eagles walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
