The corner was taken by Frank Leoni in the 10th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Varsovia's goalie and right to Patryk Huchro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Varsovia's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 17 minutes into the game, Cyryl Budrewicz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grandi Lupi's Frank Leoni quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd minute, Charly Alberti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grandi Lupi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Charly Alberti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Poremba having to make a save. Antoni Poremba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charly Alberti in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grandi Lupi's zone, Klement Sitko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonz Kállai came out of the goal and Klement Sitko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Grandi Lupi getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mazuste Flores hit a great ball. Alfonz Kállai made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Stefan Niemojewski sent off a good shot on target. Frank Leoni hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Niemojewski in the 34th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Niemojewski was the one to do the kick off. Charly Alberti kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Grandi Lupi's Alfonz Kállai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Niemojewski in the 54th minute of play. Charly Alberti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Antoni Poremba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoni Poremba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charly Alberti in the 62nd minute of the match. Varsovia's Antoni Poremba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazuste Flores in the 63rd minute of play. Grandi Lupi's Louis-Philippe Damman was substituted for Mazuste Flores. 70 minutes into the game, Wladyslaw Oborski threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varsovia's goalkeeper Antoni Poremba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 77 minutes Grandi Lupi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cyryl Budrewicz who took care of the corner kick. 83 minutes into the match, Varsovia's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Tristezza came free, but Antoni Poremba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Antoni Poremba throw himself and got hold of the ball when Frank Tristezza in the 83rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Árpád Láng struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Antoni Poremba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grandi Lupi. Antoni Poremba didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 88th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. The Grandi Lupi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grandi Lupi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
