Pål Säv made in the 4th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Hauk Hareide immediately put the ball in play. Silvestre Peli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Francho in the 6th minute of the match. Hauk Hareide took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Sundström. Ronny Sundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Eddie Söder got a free kick in the 10th minute. Ronny Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hauk Hareide in the 18th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Fedai Oktan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvestre Peli. The goal made the score 1-1. Hauk Hareide might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronny Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hauk Hareide ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Castel came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's Felix Castel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronny Sundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. BENA FK's Ronny Sundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hauk Hareide in the 41st minute of play. Dorival de Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kant Spel made a kick off. Hauk Hareide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ronny Sundström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Utter in the 53rd minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Silvestre Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Hauk Hareide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Helge Jönsson got a free kick in the 57th minute. Dariusz Motyl took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ronny Sundström. La Bichineta's Felix Castel got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. La Bichineta's Vennard Rojak was substituted for Dorival de Azevedo. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Eskil Billock got a free kick in the 64th minute. Carolo Abancens's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronny Sundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Octavio Nueva kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kant Spel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Silvestre Peli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Arnaldo Pirmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Sundström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Castel in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronny Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 90 minutes into the match, BENA FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vennard Rojak came free, but Ronny Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Carolo Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronny Sundström was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Kant Spel came free, but Silvestre Peli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Bichineta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
