Bergamaspor's Mateusz Marchewka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johan Kuse in the 5th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Elof Hedin made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bergamaspor's Mateusz Marchewka tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 15 played minutes Bergamaspor got a freekick which was hit by Uluç Seciye. A collision led to Bergamaspor getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Uluç Seciye hit a great ball. Florian Wirtz hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Mateusz Marchewka was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Elof Hedin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elof Hedin really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Elof Hedin might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateusz Marchewka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elof Hedin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateusz Marchewka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Hedin in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute Everardo Sotero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateusz Marchewka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Skålberg in the 32nd minute. Florian Wirtz's late challenge caught a AIK FOTBOLL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Wirtz helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Bergamaspor got a freekick which was hit by Florian Wirtz. 37 minutes into the match, Bergamaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hedin came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes AIK FOTBOLL got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Harlén. In the 45th minute, Elof Hedin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateusz Marchewka was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 48 minutes into the match, Elof Hedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateusz Marchewka. Bergamaspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elof Hedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Kuse stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Bergamaspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uluç Seciye to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elof Hedin in the 57th minute of play forced Bergamaspor's goalkeeper Mateusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Hermansson took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateusz Marchewka. Mateusz Marchewka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 81 minutes into the match, Bergamaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Mesquita came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AIK FOTBOLL's Olov Deckberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Uluç Seciye in the 85 minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Bergamaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Mesquita came free, but Mateusz Marchewka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when Bergamaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uluç Seciye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateusz Marchewka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Paulo Mesquita went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AIK FOTBOLL fully deserved thier win.
