The audience thought a goal was coming when Taras Romanchuk got free with Corrado Biscotti in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taras Romanchuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 姚斌云 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Caligaris in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the game, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Taras Romanchuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Corrado Biscotti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 38 minutes into the game, Christian De Sanctis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fundação Marques dos Reis's 杜光朋 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Trastevere's zone, Taras Romanchuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corrado Biscotti came out of the goal and Taras Romanchuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandre Pacheco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Corrado Biscotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for A.S. Trastevere! After 46 minutes of play, Fundação Marques dos Reis's Taras Romanchuk made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Corrado Biscotti was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Taras Romanchuk to make the kick off. The supporters of Fundação Marques dos Reis booed when A.S. Trastevere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felice Raiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fundação Marques dos Reis.
